You don’t have to hop on a plane to experience the best Italian food, just your car. Leonardo “Leo” Zacchino, the owner of Tutti Santi Scottsdale left his ristorante in San Remo, Italy to come here and bring it to you. Come experience not only the food, but true Italian style culture, service, and ambiance. From the elegant décor, to the wood fired oven, everything here will make you feel like you’ve been transported for the night.

Tutti Santi opened in the valley in 1996. However, it is years of tradition, family commitment, and joy for life that makes it said that “Food turns holy in Nina and Marco’s hands!” Chef Nina Vincenti is in charge of the menu here, and after tasting his food, it may just make you want to worship. Open for dinner, the tastes are unusual and delightful. There is also a happy hour each evening in the bar and lounge featuring all appetizers for $8. After looking over the menu, it’s hard to think you’d only want an appetizer here.

Go ahead and start with your Antipasti Freddi. The Mozzarella Caprese will delight with the homemade mozzarella. Try the local delicacy the Carpaccio di Bue. This dish begins with thin slices of raw filet mignon, then adds spices and some veggies on top. If you’re in the mood for something warm, the Antipasti Caldi has equally delicious choices. From Involtini di Melenzane (a ricotta cheese and spinach filled eggplant) to Escargot or Calamari Fritti, something’s bound to catch your eye. The main dishes are varied and delicious. Whether you’re in the mood for Pesce, Carne, or Le Paste you can’t go wrong. They even serve spaghetti and penne gluten free upon request. Make sure to save room for dessert here! Enjoy a real Italian espresso or cappuccino from the espresso bar, and treat your tastebuds with a tiramisu or cannoli.

Of course, no Italian experience is complete without the wine. Tutti Santi has an extensive list of Italian whites, reds, and roses by the glass or bottle. If you have your favorite closer to home, other wines from California and other parts of the world are also offered. If you’re truly wanting to make the evening special, ask for the Cantinetta (Captain’s wine list.) The Cantinetta list has very exclusive bottles from Italy and other parts of the world. There is a full bar too if you prefer a cocktail like a martini or an amaretto sour.

At Tutti Santi, make sure to dress the part. Business casual attire is requested, and hats are to be removed at the table. It all adds to the ambiance of the finer parts of Italy. Make sure to reserve a table for a special date here. Your tastebuds and dining companions will thank you.
