Mastro’s Steakhouse started out as a fine dining family owned restaurant when it opened its doors in 1999. In 2007, Mastro’s Restaurants, LLC in Woodland Hills, California took notice and acquired the Scottsdale based restaurant group. Today, Mastro’s boasts three restaurants in the Scottsdale area: Scottsdale Steakhouse, City Hall Scottsdale, and Scottsdale Ocean Club. So whether you’re in the mood for surf or turf, Mastro’s will hit the spot. When dining at any Mastro’s, expect to see similar décor as the Scottsdale Steakhouse serves as the template for all of their restaurants. They are still growing and expect to open more in the near future.

Mastro’s Steakhouse offers a truly sumptuous menu with appetizers such as caviar and the two foot tall Mastro’s Seafood Tower. The rest of the menu has selections of soups, salads, potatoes and fresh vegetables, seafood, and of course steaks and chops. The side dishes are served family style to your table so you can expect to share in the experience with everyone you came with. Whether the Petite Filet is your wish, or the Double Cut Porterhouse is more your style, be careful of the plates. The polished waitstaff has hands of steel to serve the dishes on their signature 400 degree Fahrenheit plates. The desserts are truly to die for with their chocolate sin cake, chocolate covered strawberries, or Mastro’s Signature Warm Butter Cake. Their wine list is very thoughtful and their featured cocktails are sure to delight with selections like the signature Lemon Drop Martini.

Mastro’s is open for dinner nightly from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. on weekdays, and 11 p.m. on the weekends. Live entertainment and dancing in the Piano Bar Lounge begins nightly at 6:30 p.m., and if you’re only in the mood for a couple of drinks, the lounge is open from 4 p.m. to close. For a more private affair, Mastro’s does offer private dining in five different rooms that can accommodate between 16-500 guests. The comfortable and high class ambiance makes it a perfect spot for your next corporate, charitable, or social event. The rooms range from the Dominick Room which has a maximum capacity of just 16 guests, to the West Dining Room holding 110 guests. The entire restaurant can also be reserved for just such an occasion.

Dining at the award winning Mastro’s is truly a world class event. If you’re traveling, be sure to check out their other locations but don’t forget the one that started it all here in Scottsdale! We think you’ll agree this is an entertaining and chic experience that will be remembered for a very long time.
