If there’s one thing Scottsdale natives and tourists alike love to do, it’s shop! Scottsdale has some of the best shopping destinations available from the trendy and chic, to the desert themed and unique, to the timeless and elegant. Nowhere else perhaps other than Rodeo Drive in California can you find this amount of shopping splendor. One of the best places is the Scottsdale Quarter. A collection of shops, fine restaurants, beauty salons, and places for fun sit on 28 acres with 370,000 square feet of office and retail space.

Scottsdale Quarter is so named because of the four quarters that the outdoor shopping mall is situated on. Like many malls in the area, it is outdoor and open air so that you can take advantage of our lovely desert weather and the scenery it provides such as the mountains, palm trees, and fountains. The park-like public gathering space, named The Quad, features the largest pop-jet fountain in the region. Many events are held in the open air spaces and the shops themselves. There is even an e newsletter you can sign up for on the site (www.scottsdalequarter.com) to keep you abreast of all the news and events going on there.

The Quarter is open seven days a week, so no matter how busy your schedule, you’re bound to find a day that works for you. The Quarter currently holds 18 offices such as Starwood Hotels & Resorts, iCrossing and others. The shops offer everything you’re looking for like the Apple Store, Armani Exchange, H&M, Nike, Republic of Couture, Calvin Klein Performance, and many more. If you’d like to be pampered, there are ample places for that like Drybar, minibar.ber.shop, Blissful Yoga, and the Brillare Hairdressing Academy. Something you might not expect is to happen upon stores carrying fine and unique grocery goods. Oil and Vinegar of Scottsdale caries a selection of the finest oils, vinegars, olives and dressings for home and entertaining. IT’SUGAR is a confectionery delight for both kids and adults taking candy and turning it into an experience. Of course, the iPic is there with it’s own collection of places to eat and drink inside.

What would shopping in Scottsdale be without some of the most exquisite places to eat? Just because it’s a mall area doesn’t mean you have to resort to frozen yogurt and pizza (which are available if you like) you can turn it into a whole experience. Offering some of the best restaurants in the Valley you’ll have a hard time deciding between surf at Eddie V’s Prime Seafood or turf at Dominick’s Steakhouse. Stingray Sushi is always good for a taste of the East, while the SOL Mexican Cocina offers flavor a little closer to home. There’s always parking spaces available with two parking garages located on the south and north ends. Valet parking is also offered throughout the Quarter. If you’re a guest of the nearby Westin Kierland Resort & Spa, you’ll enjoy free access to the complimentary shuttle, which runs throughout the day.

There’s nothing more fun than shopping and finding great deals. You’re able to do both in the unique urban setting that is the Quarter. No matter what you’re looking for, chances are you’ll find it. For the best outdoor mall experience it is Scottsdale’s finest. One visit here, and you’ll never want to shop any place else!
